What documentation is available for composite panels?

Supply includes the reaction-to-fire classification pending documentation classification for the felt material, NRC data measured to ASTM C423 for the proposed build-up, and dimensional and weight data. Additional documentation can be requested during quotation.

Can performance be specified to a target NRC?

Yes. Because the build-up controls the result, the panel thickness, cavity and any additional insulation are selected together to reach the target for the room. Provide the room, the frequency problem and the target and the build-up is proposed for approval.

NRC values are measured to ASTM C423 and depend on panel thickness and mounting method (direct fix, 25 mm cavity, or insulated build-up). Reaction-to-fire classification pending documentation is a reaction-to-fire classification, not a fire-resistance rating. We do not currently hold an ASTM E84 classification. Recycled-content and recyclability claims apply to the panel core.
